The scattered leaves of torment lie
Beneath the cold and frosty sky
I sit, alone, near a fires blaze
With tear soaked eyes, a steady gaze
I looked deeper into the fires light
I forgot about the lonely night
The fires demons danced with glee
As a teardrop from my eyes broke free
I shivered suddenly, the wind had spoken
It said "you are weak, your heart is broken"
The night kissed dawn and said goodbye
It said that "I was weak cry"
Now the scattered leaves of torment lie
Memories of that frosty sky
They tease my soul, a bitter token
Of a foolish heart, battered, broken.
