What's happening to us
What's going on around here
Drama and fuss
Intermingled with fear

We are being moved
To a smaller home
A cage made of steel
Shaped like a dome

We were quite discontent
In our new found space
With a branch that is bent
And a curious face

One day the wire door
Was left open wide
Courage and freedom
Stared us straight in the eye

Our brother jumped out
And flew onto the grass
A red dogs swift jaws
Were onto him fast

His screams of agony
Of pain and rage
We flew aganist the
Sides of our cage

We flew and bashed
Ourselves on the wire
To be with our brother
Then we all rose higher

Now we are not in a cage
Where we don't wish to be
The cage is gone
And we are free ...
