So ugly and bad is the canetoad
Its personality stings
Its poison is deadly
To all living things Through feeling angry
At this fat gruesome toad
I find to feel pity
Is a much lighter load I looked for some light
For some happiness there
But I only found sadness
The cupboard was bare Tell me why you foul creature
That you are so bad
Do you like hurting others
Or are you insecure and sad At your present state
Where you love turns to hate
Where your heart is a prison
A ward of the state.
