One day Karen and her younger sister Nicki, who had come up from Brisbane, came to visit me. The fluorescent light in the kitchen started flickering as I walked over to the sink and began to fill the kettle. It flickered so much that I thought it would blow a bulb. "Are you feeling okay?" Nicki asked.

"Yeah," I said. "It's the faeries. You know you attract them. They're just happy to see you." I winked.

Karen turned to her sister, "You know her face changes. There's this one with the gold tooth that comes out."

This would occur when an 'elemental' or 'faery' consciousness was present. This happened because my smile was different when I was in this 'state of consciousness', causing a front tooth to become more prominent and so that it appeared to shine a gold colour, as it caught and reflected the surrounding light.

Karen then told me that stuff had been happening to her. At McDonalds a customer in the drive-thru had been abusive to her and, as she had turned and glared at him, his car had broken down at the counter and had to be pushed out. I looked at her as she told me. After my talk with Joan I just hoped that Karen wasn't deliberately doing this stuff with her mind. Later that day when I dropped Karen off to work I said, "They have told me that there will be a streetlight on outside the McDonalds."

Sure enough, it was on. Karen then said, "I'm getting scared."

Another time Karen and I were driving along Bagot Road during the day on the way to Bunnings. As we were stopped at the traffic lights, I said to her, "See that streetlight over there?"

She said "Yeah, what?"

I said, "Well, what's it doing on in the middle of the day?"

As we both looked at it, it turned itself off and then back on again. Karen shrieked, "I love it when this shit happens!"

Admittedly, so did I. In fact, it was now comforting to be constantly provided with confirmation of forces greater than myself and to know that consciousness did exist outside my body. After the deaths, I felt myself becoming dependant on it.

It felt like I was dealing with one super consciousness where, there had been a response to others within and beyond the body via the manipulation of physical matter. My consciousness was definitely involved, but I was simply one of many, most of who seemed to exist beyond physicality. It finally began to dawn on me that I was dealing with a conscious universe, that being, a vast collective of consciousnesses that did not need this physical body in order to exist. I was still in awe of it all. Sometimes when the lights came on I just wept into my hands on the street.

During September in 2005, one of the touch lamps that I had brought with me from Ridgehaven Circuit dimmed up and down, followed by a bang in the refrigerator. The wall light dimmed on and off once. One night when I felt suddenly happy about something I had been working on, the fluorescent light in the kitchen, and the radio, turned on and off. The small flickers of the fluorescent lights continued in the supermarkets. There was the same loud single rap when I woke in the morning.

On my way to a masseur who worked back in Ridgehaven Circuit, a pair of green traffic lights in front of me turned orange, flashed on and off three times, and then turned back to green again, as I drove through them. The vehicle in front of me braked. This blinking traffic light 'phenomena' was ongoing.
