                                                                                                              page-284 WINTER

Loneliness, a misty haze
Winter brings dull cold days
Memories of summer past
How thou wishes they could last

Ticking slowly, the dusty clock
That laughing rhythm begans to mock
The dismal clouds roll on and on
The suns bright rays have come and gone

Pitter, patter on the rooves
Prancing little horses hooves
No more warm walks with my dog
Only cold and the wog

A bleak old world drained of sun
There's no fun for anyone
Who wants a world with no light
A cold bold world as dark as night.
