                                                                                                              page-203 Poltergeist

The light bulb hanging from a white cord begins to spin of its own
Accord glass fragments shatter out in small explosions I am inside
The light twisting rapidly makes sure I can see all angles of the
Room at once I have myself well covered glass shatters shooting out
Into the rooms spaces like machine gun fire for a moment I see you
Enter the room your eyes wider blue then in the next spin my glass
Fire has found its target you go stumbling backwards out from the
Room blood rivulets streaming down your cheeks across your hands
Between your fingers I follow you into the radio dial which switches
On of its own accord in the loungeroom saying today a thirty one
Year old man raped a five year old girl today a woman tennis player
Was stabbed by a male spectator today a man accused of killing
Three male youths was taken into custody hot pins and jewelry drop
From the ceiling onto your shoulder & the lights are flickering
I am poltergeist activity hanging in your fireplace like grey
Ash that strikes out like flame or glass every attempt to investigate
My sources is squashed you know I am nothing but a nuisance a playful
Spirit a negative space in the house why don't you just go to your
Cold bed alone why don't you just give up and give up the ghost
