page-202 THE PLAQUE ON THE WALL

As a distant windmill spins its arms
Silently through the clouds
Time goes on ...

Hope is found and love is lost on a
Misty morn through ice cold frost
And time goes on ...

Life is created, things die and are born
Night after night, dawn after dawn
And time goes on ...

Through thick and through thin
Through short and through tall
Time does not exist
To the plaque on the wall

The once friendly house is cold and bare
As those windmills arms glides through the air
Good times have started
Bad times have gone
And time goes on ...
