                                                                                                              page-181 NIGHTMARE

As I sleep in soundless slumber
White sheep jump a fence of lumber
My subconscious mind comes awake
Visions of a deep blue lake Rippling waves, watery hues
Greens, purples, colourful blues
Sitting in a boat of glass
Dreaming, peaceful, content at last Sailing on a vast blue sea
An ugly 2 faced monster rises
Its gaping mouth reaching for me
I must escape this sea of suprizes Gleaming eyes, yellow and bright
Rough, course, fur dark as night
I am filled with a terrible fear
Someone help! Can't anyone hear I wake up in cold sweat and stare
My dream had become a nightmare
Reality has become my friend
Now back to sleep to dream again
