Fine fractures filled the ancient cavern
Fractures of crystal in a limestone light
Dripping and forming throughout the day
An everlasting night

An eerie gleam of a glowworm
Shining stars throughout the cave
A tranquil deep blue lake
Icey depths, as cold as a grave

No sound is heard in this silent place
Dripping particles beat steadily on
Forming a stalicmite on the ledge where
The cave cricket sings its mournful song

Echoes of darkness flood the cavern
Where tiny night creatures play
Fine fractures of crystal shine on
Through thin shields of mud and clay

A large fruit bat clasps its hands
And opens its eyes with fright
The fine fractures are at their darkness
As a cool breeze walks in from the night.
