Go to sleep, go to bed
Go and rest your weary head
Hidden face, eyes closed tight
The easter rabbit comes tonight

Snoring quietly, soundless sleeping
Twitching whiskers, brown eyes peeping
Fluffy tail, floppy ears
A basket full of easter cheers

Sleeping snugly, warm bed
Coloured paper, bright red
Chocolate eggs, ribbons bright
The easter rabbit is gone with night

Family awaken, at sunrise
Under your bed, a big suprise
Paper rattling what could it be
A chocolate egg, just for me

Baking oven, hot cross buns
I've eaten mine, now for mums
Now to church, kneel and pray
Have a happy easter day.
