As I search for sorrow
A sickness fills my eyes
A sickness for attention
Like fly paper is for flys

As I want to communicate
I seek and find a partner
My precious piece of soul searching
Ends up in mental laughter

And as I seek affection
Like a fish will seek a bait
Affection draws so near
And turns to hate and fear

And as I search for friendship
Happiness is what I preech
Friendship is like gold
Happiness like diamonds hard to reach

As I search for my soul
Through a maze of trees
I take the time to daydream
But the world will never freeze

And as I search in a limestone cave
For a feeling I wish to find
A new dimension opens up
A corner of my mind.
