Mermaid: The Woman on the Edge of the Sea

So you have caught yourself a live mermaid?

Sailor, carry her back to the wild cliff faces,
place her amongst your private treasures,
and allow the seaside to fill her hours
where she will comb her auburn emerald hair.

She is the sacred otherkin of the world's psyche.
Her old eyes are as mystical as mythology.
You will have no chance to uncover this being.
If you kiss her I will pity you, your final breath.

I would advise you to journey by the rocks
of sirens with caution, for she lives within.

A restless ocean touches her slumbering caverns.
The vast lit sea is the weaver of all our illusions.
