Will you not know me, when I am gone from your life?
Will you not carry my love in your memory unending?
Will you not come, once your physical form gives way?
Would it be better, had we each not loved the other?

Do not despair in the ocean's depths, my brother.
We are only uncertain consciousness. This will end.
We are the marine children of the starlit spheres.

Do you not trust my voice, through this stone?
Do you find my remnants in shallow desert sands?
Do you know my presence in the salt and dunes?
Do you feel my departure, like fear from love?
Do you taste my memories upon the winds of time?
Do you hear the parchment rattle in the tombs?
Do you smell the scent of oceans upon the palms?
Do you see the way that is now opening before you?
Can you taste your bitter tears and let them drown?
Can you not touch my psyche with your own?

It is because love slept and was not conquered.
It is because I die and will live again.
It is because I live, that I am able to love.
It is because I awaken that I will live,
and I am able to wander amongst your kindred.

For the eternity of the spheres conquers us all
until all our fears, drop like gems into the seas,
just as you will and just as you were, is as I am,
which is why you will always sail towards me.

Sailor, you are mistaken and often forsaken,
since it is not I who come to your civilisation.
It is you who will journey upon my territories.
My windowless land that knows no boundaries.
My borders that seek no edges, but mirages.
While you have slept and dreamt of my death,
I have turned this voyage of futures around.
