DEMONIC EXPFRESSIONS [04]: GREENMAN [02]
"For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places." [Ephesians 6:12, The Holy Bible, KJV].
I am shown a series of images, that depict one of the ways in which fallen angels/ demonic powers, desire to be creatively represented, as in being a green man, a nature spirit, faery folk or an otherworldly entity, who lives in leaves, trees and forests. These are ancient territorial spirits, who take up residence in natural places where human, [particularly baby and animal] blood sacrifice took place, in order to venerate them as little gods. Many of these locations of animal cruelty and infanticide or pagan death rituals, have been kept relevant as sacred sites and/or recreated as national parks.
