CORAL HULL: VEGAN, VEGAS
33. like an ant that ran around disconnected, with one antenna crushed

my bathroom basin is littered with ants, that throw back their heads & die like dogs, the abyss ant art is suspended in the bath, viewed on nights alone, in pale blue water from the new hot water system, we are not on speaking terms, but i do not like to see them drown like this, one ant in particular made me cry, its antenna pulled back like bicycle handles, who do i want to relate to this time?, who do i want to get hurt by, or catch the disease from?, i think, none, not until i get rid of the last one, detachment, revenge & success, do not take revenge on what you are attached to, otherwise you'll only hurt yourself, self-focus is the best revenge, ants are cleaning their antennae carefully, smelling out their tracks, permanently embedded on the ceramic, each ant drowns as an individual & has tried to survive, in the best way it can, in amongst the dozens, the living wasting nothing, this behaviour may not be appropriate to my needs, i will have to find my own way through the mess, like an ant that ran around disconnected from the rest, with one antenna crushed
