CORAL HULL: THIRTY SIX HOURS
LEAVING THE ANTI-LIFE SOCIETY III

Late afternoon chased Daniel further towards the silent beach in the east. The closer he got to his destination the further the sun sank out of his reach. The ultimate fear of day descending left his being lost and empty. All his others had left him, dispersing into sand or flapping singularly into gull scream in the void of blue sky nothingness.

Daniel trembled as a silent scream of beach winds shifted in him. He was going to die - going to die. There was no question of it left for him. Alone and lost before the collapsing waves, the distance of blue sky showed him - that the way towards death was not filled with decay and nothingness. A feeble cry within the quietness of himself then only stillness.

The voices were silent and swallowed up grains along the beach, seething in wind. All the life he had ever held, all the eyes he had ever held, within his own, within his own hands the hands of others, the voices of others, of his inner world - all would be tossed away to the sky into nothingness.

I'M COMING, he told the wind, I'M COMING and the wind was there to receive him.
