CORAL HULL: THIRTY SIX HOURS
AFTERWORD

On March 19th 2004, one of the selves woke up with the words, "Oh, my God there's other people living in my body." What followed was an intensive period of selves discovery.

The text from Thirty Six Hours was intrinsic in finding out the name of the second half the the primary self or twin soul braid of Daniel. Daniel had named himself after "Daniel and the Lions Den" and the Australian poet Henry Kendall.

Only One was representative of the first half of the primary self who had named herself Arwen during 2002, but whom we now call Angel Eve. Eve emerged to walk in the body at the physical earth age of twenty-six. We were fortunate enough to have an outsider witness observe Eve in action before the system became selves aware. This witness was to describe Eve as cross between an angel and an eight-month-old baby.

The self of Rohan walked in the body during 2004 and on a regular basis in 2005. Once as he entered the body, we felt as if we grew suddenly taller. Rohan is otherkin, or of "non-human" consciousness. We would describe him as cross between an elven male and a being of light or an angellic being. Rohan is still a mystery to the system since he has no earthly autobiography and only a vary vague understanding in regards to his surroundings when conscious within the body.

The self of The Howler has not manifested in the body since around the time that Thirty Six Hours was written. We can only guess at her origins in knowing that she is connected to a grouping of otherkin selves; The Night Angel, Miriam and Nym. This is a complex family group and The Night Angel and Miriam seemed to have been old, when the physical body was born.

Will Douglas represents the kind-hearted aspect of humanity, but he is also of multiple consciousness and in Thirty Six Hours he represents a form of a guardian essence protector.

Alternatively Ian the conservationist is representative human society at its worst and for this reason, he is perceived as destructive to the system, in particular to the primary soul braid who is again returned to the forest of the unconscious. Aside from Charlotte's family, Ian is the only self in the text who does not have a place in the system or the central psyche. He is what is termed by multiples as "an outsider".

The hitchhiker is believed to have been both Marla and Sophie who were attempting to connect with Rohan. There seems to be more than a touch of Daniel in Rohan. The checkout operators and packer are a combination of our human teenagers Sophie and Scarlett. Several otherkin selves such as Sparky and Jeckyll are represented by Michevious Irritable and Freedom and Havoc.

Charlotte is a combination of Celeste and a non-entity, who acts as a central psychic space or platform, where the lives of the alternating selves are played out, but unbeknowns to her, since she senses only vague disturbances which she attributes to the weather and as having planetary or cosmic significance. Her family and her neighbours are outsiders.

Lastly, we have Lance Loam. Lance only entered the physical body in our twenties under deep trance. Lance is non-human and appears to have moved on, since there are only remenants of him still felt within the central psychic space.

Having no imagination, we did not develop the complex inner worlds that some Autistics are said to develop. Instead these landscapes of thought, that some new age literature refers to as alternate realities and other dimensions, appear, in our case, to be psychic holding bays or places where the selves retreat when they are not conscious in the earth world.

When a self returns to the earth world or put in another way, becomes conscious again after a period of time, they may have changed. They may also have limited memories, or they may have what some psychology textbooks refer to as "lost time".

In the case of the deaths of the selves in Thirty Six Hours, each self alternatively enters into the conscious territory or terrain of the other, while either retaining or losing their individuality. We are also witness to selves returning to the source to become pre-conscious or unconscious once again. Such is the nature of multiplicity. Almost twenty years later, and an awareness of our multiplicity and co-consciousness between many in an operating system of 40-50 selves has been achieved.
