26. FOR THE BLOKE WHO HIT THE KANGAROO, STUART HWY, SOUTH AUSTRALIA
this is for the south australian bloke who hit the kangaroo, who had to stay out 50 km from glendambo roadhouse, with the soft grey death chopped in two from the bush, although he was more concerned about his car and although he had no conscience, he still had time, he was given time enough by nature to contemplate the bent body in two pieces, to him it was a bloody inconvenience, the jigsaw puzzle was too complex for him to piece together, the bush shy head that he had decapitated, couldn't be placed back onto the body of the great marsupial, he had only seen kangaroos in pieces, i reported it to the RAA at glendambo although i didn't want to, if i had had my way he would have been left sitting out there, all the long cold night, to be visited by the great kangaroo spirit, to have that dead kangaroo get up, to put itself back together in slapped on flesh to dream dance around him, until a galaxy of stars were spinning, his head gone awry and southern, but he got away with it as far as i could tell, well we all saw the impact that the vehicle had, on the shy grey kangaroo in full sunlight the next day, but what are the ramifications for the bloke who caused this routine road kill, without a second thought?, could it stop him becoming what he might become? |
