                                                                                                              page-`232 A SMILE

A smile is a written word
Of pleasure on a face
It's only seen, not smelt nor heard
But reaches a special place

Deep within your soul and heart
A loving smile will stay
On a face, lips may part
In a friendly sort of way

A smiling face means love
Then why so many fakes
It makes others happy too
A smile is all it takes

To add a speck of brightness
To someone's dull old day
To show someone politeness
Whilst going on your way
