                                                                                                              page-218 ROSES ROSES

Roses roses red and pink
Furry prtals, soft as mink
Dark green leaves, prickly spikes
Roses roses everyone likes

Roses roses wild and free
Blooming for the honey bee
Standing straight, proud and tall
Roses roses will not fall

Roses roses grow so grand
Until touched by the human hand
I a vase a feeble cry
Roses roses wilt and die
