                                                                                                              page-150 THE LITTLE GIRL

There once was a little girl
Who was torn apart
Between love and hate
Her head and her heart

She knew not where to turn
Nor which way to go
Just like a puppy
Lost in the snow

She was so young then
So innocent and wild
Was she a woman?
Or was she a child?

She learnt one day
It hit her quite hard
Something was missing
Some part of her scarred

Why she asked
Was the world so unkind
To her feelings the people
Were deaf dum and blind

This little girls old now
She knows whats right and wrong
But still her childhood haunts her
Like a sad familiar song.
