There is no room for us
In a world with the motto
'Survival of the fittest'
What about the others
The weak, the sick, the sensitive,
Being vulnerable
Isn't wrong
I thought the good always win?
The old Red, White and Blue
Where is justice? Where is religion?
Where is Wonder Woman?
Turn down that TV trash
I'm speaking to lifeline on the phone
They say Superman can't save me now
I've got to do it on my own
The empty phone booth stands
In the glare of a solitary street light
Vandalised.
Temporarily Out Of Order.
Clark Kent was groping in the dark for his glasses.
Lifeline hung up ... It's a fraud!
If crime doesn't pay? Why are politicians rich?
Where's Batman?
Someone's been dancing in spiteful shoes
Leading us all on a Merry Misrepresentation.
It wasn't DH Lawrence. It wasn't Daffy Duck.
'Honesty is the best policy.'
It's a Walt Disney scandal.
And where is the shit face who told me this baking
Soda was cocaine?
'Age before beauty' Been to an under 25's disco lately?
So reinforced misleading lines
Sow the vegetable patch of all our minds.
Is life such a hypocrite? Is someone playing tricks?
The Riddler, The Joker, The Penguin ...
Catwoman? ... Catman?
Is the Wonder Woman series merely a repeat?
A continuation of the species
Who directed that excuse anyway?
Pot-shots at the nasty little Reds from outer space
War of the Worlds? Or some intelligent cliche?
Lost In Space ...
