                                                                                                              page-126 I can't hurt your feelings
Because you haven't got any left
anymore
You lost them in the jungle
somewhere
In an angry forgotten war
Behind the leaves that drip
Drip Drip
In a corpse half buried in
a stake lined pit
Buried in mud, with no face
In some thatched roofed hut where
a dying child
was saying grace
You saw what the old movies didn't show you
Was it fly blown and horrid for emotional value
Yes.
You lost alot in the wasted war
And we wondered what you were
fighting for
When you came home
But we threw no hand grenades
you remained alone
You lost laughter then
with the drop of a pin
The day the screaming jungle crept in.
