                                                                                                              page-116 HAVEN'T I SEEN YOU BEFORE?

When I saw that rotten apple and
that soggy stinking pear,
Didn't I see you there?
Wasn't that you?
Amongst the runny rockmelon newspaper
and the crunchy dried up rat's food?
I think that was you!
I know where you've been.
Your here with me now
But your mind isn't clean.
Yes Darling, I know that you care.
But your still over there!
Isn't that your grinning face?
Amid the decaying egg, musty meatball soup,
the yellow moth eaten threads of lace.
Doesn't that mess define your features?
On the blood stained handkerchief,
the shard born beetle creatures.
When that weathered erotic
magazine flapped open ...
Wasn't that you? Holding a token?
Didn't I see you there?
Amongst those pages printed with pubic hair?
I KNEW as you knocked at my door.
Haven't I seen that mind, somewhere before?
