Laugh little gnome laugh
Feelings to hide
Laugh till your hearts content
Cry your tears on the inside

Laugh little gnome
At the others around you
I thought I was forsaken
Thats until I found you

Laugh little gnome
Among the cactus where you stand
Laugh at the prickles
You stone painted man

You'll laugh through the summer
Until winter is here
You'll laugh through your sadness
In spite of your fear

And you'll laugh little gnome
Until the paint cracks away
You'd laugh at your own grave
On your own dying day

Could you once cry little gnome
Weep your sorrows to me?
You'd no longer be stone
Your fears would be free ...
