CORAL HULL: IN THE DOG BOX OF SUMMER
OUT OF TOWN TONIGHT BY 7 O'CLOCK

i'm quick to slip a few clothes into
a suitcase
i can be out of this city in a few
hours no questions
you can't trace a name through a
ghetto blaster
you can't trace a name through stolen
number plates from s.a.
especially since you've been living in
vic. for 6 months
living on the smell of a smith family
discloth
i smashed up a taxi i'm not insured
anyway my mother used to say you can't
get blood out of a stone
in 48 hours i'm getting out of this
town don't tell no one
i'd tell my friends if i had some
if a few would come with me/ on the
dole/ to look for work in qld
if that doesn't stick i'm pleading
insanity
they call invalid pensioners the
untouchables
most well get paid for something
takes 6 weeks for the estate agent
to get you through the tribunal
it takes an hour for me to slip
a few boxes into an e.h.
that's with a roof rack
it takes a tertiary insitution 12 months
to trace a false tax file number to s.a.
from victoria
return to sender/ no fixed address
i'm pretty good at getting out when the
going's tough
i'm tough there right along with it in
2 seconds i split
they can't touch what they can't see i
wear dark glasses for invisibility
and runners
the s.e.c. never question your name
on a new account neither does gas
phone home on a friend's phone try
reverse charges first
always live alone as i've said i'm
out of town tonight by 7 o'clock
sometimes i get tired and forget my
own lies
they would repossess my head if it wasn't
screwed on
