THE FERAL CATS
the feral cats are clearing the forests for dairy
farming/ they are sticking their sharp claws into
the soil/ they are ploughing it/ straight through
the heart of our dusty continent/ in the kimberleys
the bungle bungles/ in kakadu/ the feral cats eat
yellow cake too/ they are capitalists/ drug pushers/
& if they ever knew the value of amazon burgers/
we'd have dangerous competitors/
the feral cats are
into destruction/ taking advantage of endangered
civilisations/ the wildlife not trained to defend
themselves/ against super speed/ sharp claws &
teeth/ they massacred the koories/ when they came
to this country/ they ripped out the forests in
preference to beef/
the n.p.w.s. really expose them
for what they are/ feral cats have even migrated to
tasmania/ they are destroying rivers/ & are lighting
bushfires/ the lemonthyme/ douglas aspley/ huon
valley & denison spires/ they are tearing down
mountains/ with blood stained claws/ they turn
coastline wilderness/ into tourist resorts/ with
their massive jaws/
arsonists/ murderers/ rapists
& thieves/ the damage they do/ to fragile planet
ecology/ has to be seen/ to be believed/ & not only
that/ they are erecting buildings/ in the remaining
greenery/ they are/ kidnapping children/ & are
bashing their wives/ society was peaceful/ until
they arrived/
you better believe it/ they're
destroying the scenery/ i think we should bring in
the military/ they are an imminent danger to
civilisation/ an ecological threat/ if we bait the
trees with pesticides/ & drown their kittens in
sewerage pipes/ & burn down their habitat/ & drop
the bomb/ we'll beat them yet/ & if that doesn't work
we're in trouble
