lashed eyes, vast as a desert looked out upon,
8ft 10' from ear to tail, raised on toes to
tower, this sulky masterpiece, grown from
tiny claws, that climbed a hairy pouch
towards the nipple, gripping hairs as thick as
ropes, this miracle of life, the size of a
fingernail, has unsettled the dust for a kick
boxing fight, & has struck with powerful
grasping hands, with the heavy sway of a
balancing pendulum, fur flaking like rust,
from enlarged hind quarters, skin ripped off &
scarred over, from deadly competitions, of
thick teeth, tapered tail & incisors, that sour
faced old boomer, danger to men & dogs,
descendant of giant extinct kangaroos,
that thudded & kicked it out |
